Why Romantic Poems?
One of my many fantasies is for my lover to be so inspired by my beauty and sensuality that he creates a beautiful piece of prose and recites it to me under my window while he yearns to be in my bed.
Yeah, right! But poetry does strike a deep cord and these musings come from very real inspirations. The thing about an 'ode' is that once you put it on paper, it lives forever. We become inspired by a great love in our life and take pen to paper or fingers to keyboard, and declare our passion and emotion for all eternity. Often times those lovers disappoint us and we wish we could take the sentiment back – but it’s out there and how we once felt will never change.
