Kiss Poems And Then He Kissed Me
Kiss Poems - And Then He Kissed Me
And the innocent commitment that ran so deep turned to guilty love and overflowed,
the feelings that were just under the surface exploded to the top and clearly showed.
He kissed me and I knew that I’d never taste another’s mouth,
Never feel another’s hands on my face,
Never settle for another’s taste.
He kissed me and my heart beats’ pace betrayed the
“until marriage” promise I had made.
The appetites I had denied for so long came screaming and heaving that they weren’t wrong,
Proclaiming that pleasure over virtue would be far out-weighed.
He kissed me and I wanted him to feel it too -
That from this moment on there was nothing we could do
to stop the floodgates we had opened wide
And our paths would meet to get inside-
Where the kiss doesn’t have to end
Where the kiss builds and builds and then it sends
Two people, two flesh – into one,
Where the kiss will never be done…
