In the mornings I feel him looking into my sleeping heart and it stirs me awake. My eyes flutter open and his breath is close by my shoulder, a smile sneaks across his face. He touches my hair and kisses me good morning.

When I’m near him he reaches out to me – always wanting more. Hungry to feel me under his touch. Missing me while I’m still in the room.

When he’s away from me I never leave his mind, never leave his decisions, really never leave his side.

When we get home I know that my ecstasy is as close as I want it to be Tender but powerful Urgent but not rushed

In the evenings when we’re spent at the end of the day he puts me to sleep with a kiss on my shoulder and a stroke of my hair – just like the beginning. The way he lingers at the corners of my mouth takes me to a deep, restful, place of peace. The peace of knowing.
